Excellent value for the money. We had a king bed in room 7, it was clean and quiet (we couldn’t hear any road noise at all). Vicki recommended the Toad Hall and we ended going there every day (the date scones were amazing, so were the brownies, wraps).

Highly recommend this place not only is it neat, tidy and clean but has everything you need for your stay. Washing machine/drier, little bbq close to shops. Bus stop right outside on opposite side. Heated beds, stove/oven, sky tv and netflix channels for entertainment. What I loved more about our stay was Vicky, she has such a beautiful soul. Lovely, kind and easy to interact with whenever you need help with something. God bless always

Wowee - what a beautiful hidden gem. We loved our stay. Great location. Warm welcome. Some very nice touches - such as the chocolate, soap, and petals on our bed (chocolate was delicious). Laundry available was a bonus. Cleanliness brilliant, comfort, amenities, parking everything was fantastic.
When we arrived to check into Abbey Court, we discovered that the friendly and thoughtful proprietress had kept our room warm so we'd feel comfortable. As we were only a few days into our winter vacation, we were still adapting to the cold. So her kind gesture was greatly appreciated and it warmed our hearts as well. Our room was clean; very very clean. And it was a large room with plenty of space to move about. There's even a coat room for jackets and luggage which I've not seen before or during our trip. Usefully there's also a heater installed in the bathroom. Overall, this is one of the better designed and equipped motels I've stayed in.
